Vigneti Tardis, Martedi, Paestum
Aglianico (with a little addition of Aglianicone, relative to the first one, with a bit thicker skins) at its best! Grapes were grown in a small vineyard of Vigneti Tardis in Campania. Just a free-run juice (without pressing) followed by a wild, natural fermentation. The result is a wine with sweet black cherry and blackberry jam notes, a big bold structure and ripe tannins. Well balanced overall. Asking for a meaty, hearty dishes.
