Tasting Notes
Being a fascinating lesser known region from Piedmont, but overshadowed with Barolo and Barbaresco these day, Gattinara used to hold more admiration from the public than it’s neighbours in the past. Made with Nebbiolo grape, locally known as Spanna, wine possesses all variety’s typical qualities – cherry, earthy notes with perfumed hints of rose petals and mulberries. Palate is well underlined with high acidity and tannins levels, making perfect pairing with truffles and game.
