Aecht Schlenkerla Eiche (Oak Smoke) is an 8.0% ABV German Smoked Doppelbock brewed by the historic Schlenkerla Brewery (Heller-Bräu Trum) in Bamberg, Germany. Unlike their flagship beers which use beechwood-smoked malt, this seasonal specialty is made with 100% malt kilned over an open oak wood fire.

A rich, full-bodied balance of caramel sweetness, toasted bread, and dark prune-like fruitiness from the heavy Doppelbock malt base. The oak smoke weaves through the palate without overpowering it.
