Tasting Notes

Crusted Port is a rare and traditional style of wine. It is a blend of high-quality ports from a few different vintage harvests. This specific 2021 bottling is mostly a blend of Vintage Ports from 2018 and 2019.

The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Because it is not filtered, the wine continues to age inside the bottle. Over time, it forms a natural sediment or “crust” on the glass. This is how the wine gets its unique name.
