The house of Maxime Trijol first installed its initial still in Saint-Martial-sur-Né in 1859. Today, it remains an independent, sixth-generation family-owned estate. They are unique because they cultivate their own vines and distill the wine on-site using 22 traditional Charente copper stills. This complete control over the entire supply chain guarantees incredible consistency and premium quality.

Maxime Trijol VSOP Grande Champagne is a highly acclaimed, award-winning Cognac crafted 100% from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the Grande Champagne region, which is widely considered the Premier Cru (finest growing area) of Cognac. While the legal minimum age for a VSOP is 4 years, this expression blends a large proportion of older eaux-de-vie (aged between 10 and 20 years), giving it an average tasting age of around 15 years.
