Tasting Notes
From the Languedoc region of Southern France. The name “Le Fou” translates to “The Madman”, a playful nod to the traditional belief that trying to grow a delicate, cool-climate grape like Pinot Noir in the sun-drenched climate of the southern Languedoc was pure madness.
Medium-bodied, juicy, and fruit-forward. Because it is grown in a warmer region than traditional Burgundian Pinot Noir, it offers a noticeably riper, fuller, and more opulent style.
