Tasting Notes
Hewitson “Baby Bush” Mourvèdre is a unique, full-bodied red wine produced by winemaker Dean Hewitson in Australia’s famous Barossa Valley. It holds a special place in the wine world because it is grown from the direct cuttings of the 1853 “Old Garden” vineyard, which is widely considered the oldest living Mourvèdre vineyard on the planet.
Rich notes of dark fruits like blackberry, dark cherry, and blueberry. This fruitiness is balanced by savoury elements like warm earth, herbs, coffee, chocolate, and a hint of spice or beef stock.
