Tasting Notes

Giesinger Festbier is a premium seasonal Bavarian festival lager brewed by Giesinger Bräu, a highly respected independent brewery founded in Munich in 2006.

While it is brewed in the traditional style for the autumn festival season, it is not one of the six “official” beers served inside the main tents at the Munich Oktoberfest. However, the independent brewery has significantly expanded its capacity—including a deep well to source local Munich water—with the ultimate goal of securing a spot at the festival in the future.
