Derrumbes Zacatecas is a highly unique, artisanal mezcal that offers a rare “time travel” experience by showcasing Blue Weber Agave (Agave tequilana) cooked and distilled using ancient, traditional mezcal methods. While the state of Zacatecas and its neighbour, the Tequila Valley, generally process this agave using modern, industrial steaming methods, the Bañuelos family at Hacienda de Guadalupe are among the few who preserve the historical way of making agave spirits.
