Azul Y Garanza, Suelo Vivo Tinto
£20.00
Tasting Notes
Although in the renowned fable of “The Grasshopper and the Ant” the grasshopper leads an idyllic life while the diligent ant toils away, in reality, this insect engages in far more than just singing in the sunshine. Fulfilling crucial roles in nature such as pollinating flora, decomposing organic matter, and pest control are innate daily tasks it dutifully performs. The dynamic trio behind the winery Azul y Garanza in the Navarrese town of Carcastillo (Spain), namely Maria, Fer, and Dani, certainly do not underestimate their contribution to our ecosystem. So much so that they champion their significance through their innovative Suelo Vivo line, a collection of minimally intervened wines adorned with a playful illustration of a grasshopper on the label, born from their profound commitment to biodiversity.
