From the extraordinary steep slopes of the Mosel, hail the most amazing white wines.

It is home to of one of the world’s finest grape varieties, Riesling, and it this grape that we will be exploring, tasting and celebrating with the fabulous estates of Lothar Kettern and Fio.

In the heart of the Mosel lies the Weingut of Philipp Kettern, a 3rd generation winemaker producing

Riesling using modern techniques whilst retaining the traditions passed down through the family.

 His wines are truly extraordinary.

From this base, the Ketterns have teamed up with one of Portugal’s great winemaking families, Niepoort, bought an amazing terraced vineyard site (not unlike the Douro but in the Mosel!)

and created the project, FIO.  Philipp is making the wine alongside Daniel Niepoort

under the guidance of the mighty Dirk.

To showcase these wines at their best, we need great food and what better than our friends

at Woky Ko.  They have been our lovely neighbours at Cargo since its conception and have now opened a brilliant new restaurant at the top of Park Street.  It is here that we will host the dinner,

so expect exquisite Asian flavours to go alongside the variety of Rieslings from the Mosel.

We think this is an extraordinary pairing and one not to be missed.

Places are limited and can be booked through Corks of Cotham, North Street or Cargo.

To secure your reservation, payment will be taken on booking.
