We are delighted to offer pre orders on Circumstance Distillery first release.

 Circumstance Distillery is the first and only distillery in Bristol distilling from ferment.

Making an organic Vodka, white Rum and Whisky. Their approach to making spirits is to respect traditions without being confined by them.

The first release of ‘Circumstance Distillery Single Grain Whisky’ will launch on

Monday 5th September, the first Whisky made in the city for over 80 years.

Grains: Malted barley, Unmalted barley

Yeast: French Saison

Maturation: 37 months in first fill ex bourbon

The inaugural whisky release is a single grain whisky created from 85% malted barley and

15% unmalted barley that was processed by hand at Warminster Maltings.

 The grains were fermented for a full 14 days on a French saison yeast before

being distilled in an 1800L pot still with copper whisky hood and 4 plate column.

The flavoursome new make has matured in first-fill ex bourbon casks

at the distillery for over three years.
