Tasting Notes
Spaten Münchner Hell is a classic, crisp German Helles lager brewed by the famous Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu in Munich. It holds a legendary status in brewing history as the world’s very first bottom-fermented Munich Hell lager, originally brewed on 21 March 1894 to compete with pale northern German pilsners. Before this breakthrough, Munich breweries primarily produced dark, sweet, and malty beers.
