Tasting Notes

Laetitia is a decadent 13% ABV Birthday Cake Imperial Stout brewed by Tartarus Beers, an independent craft brewery based in Leeds, UK. Released to celebrate the brewery’s 5th anniversary. Double mashed and boiled for over 3 hours to create a super thick, luscious, and viscous mouthfeel.

The extended boiling process naturally develops intense, sweet base notes of caramel, dark coffee, and rich chocolate. To mimic the profile of a celebratory birthday cake, vanilla and additional chocolate adjuncts are added during the conditioning phase.
