Tasting Notes

Lotus Eater is a 14.2% ABV Caramelised Biscuit Imperial Stout brewed by Tartarus Beers in Leeds, England. It is a collaborative release created with the well-known Dutch craft brewery, Brouwerij Kees. Brewed using a complex multi-grain malt bill (barley, wheat, and oats). It is conditioned with 45kg of caramelised biscuits added directly to the fermenter.

Combines strong bittersweet chocolate and espresso elements with sweet caramelised biscuit profiles. It finishes with a slow, velvety warmth from the high alcohol content.
