Originally founded in 2015 as a “social distillery” to create permanent jobs and support the Hebridean community, the distillery famously produced the world-renowned Isle of Harris Gin while waiting for their whisky to mature. They released their historic inaugural single malt expressions in 2023.
The Isle of Harris Distillery produces complex, lightly peated single malts that are distilled, matured, and bottled entirely on the island.
