Tasting Notes

Noilly Prat Ambré is a rich, full-bodied French vermouth created in 1986 that balances a sweet profile with complex herbal spice. Sitting comfortably between a traditional dry and sweet red vermouth, it serves as Noilly Prat’s answer to a Bianco vermouth but is distinguished by its unique oxidation process and distinct notes of warm spices and citrus.

It is infused with up to 15-20 different herbs and spices from around the world. Key additions include cinnamon from Sri Lanka, cardamom from India/Guatemala, rose buds from Morocco, lavender, and vanilla.

Sweet cinnamon, candied orange peel, vanilla, and plump raisins. This sweet, dessert-like texture is balanced by an undertone of overripe fruit, citrus acidity, and bitter rooty notes.
