We are delighted to welcome back to Bristol, Nikka Whisky from Japan

and Kavalan Whisky from Taiwan for an Asian Spirit tasting event.

Nikka almost needs no introduction, having been established in the early

part of the 20^th century by Scottish distillery trained Masataka Takesuru and

taking Japanese whisky to new heights with every release.

Kavalan is a relatively new distillery in the world of whisky, but what a phenomenal distillery it is! Hailing from the tropical island of Taiwan, their new make spirit goes through an immense transformation to achieve a depth and colour unmatched for their relative young age. The tropical warm climate exaggerates the aging process and with the addition of extra maturation in a diversity of wine casks or traditional bourbon and sherry this produces superb whisky expressions.
